The American tailboard originated from the UK and the US, and its main manufacturers are: Waltco, Maxon, Tommygate, Ultron, Tiemman, Leyman, R& B Ratcliff, DEL.

The Australian tail plate first appeared in the late 1950s. After decades of development, particularly improved laws and regulations to protect workers, it stimulated and increased the demand for tailgate plates. Since car transport accounts for most of the traffic, from long-distance trailers and large trucks to small trucks sent out into the city, small trucks need tail plates ranging in size from 250kg to 3000kg or even 5000 kg.

In Europe, strict low-carbon environmental requirements have been implemented, and trucks have adopted lightweight strategies to improve load quality. The tail plate also needs to be light. The mechanical part is made of high-strength steel, the large plate is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, and the whole tail plate is made of aluminum alloy, represented by AHT.

The design and appearance of the American tailboard is completely different from that of the European tailboard, including railway lift (vertical), TUCKAWAY (folding and hidden) and pickup (pickup tailboard).

Like the European tail board, the American tail board is equipped with trailers not only for road transportation, heavy trucks and small/small trucks, but also with the best-selling pickup trucks in the United States. Compared with the European tail plate, the American tail plate production process is more unwieldy, but very strong, with steel as the main material.

Due to its excellent design, better load quality and safer balance, the European tail plate is gradually accepted by the United States, The United Kingdom, Australia, South Africa and other countries and regions.
